Head of Rugby Announcement
As a club we are pleased to officially welcome on board Roi Hansell-Pune in the role of Head of Rugby.
Roi brings an impressive blend of player development experience and proven leadership across community and high performance rugby. With professional playing experience in New Zealand and France, combined with his recent work at Auckland Rugby (as a Game Development Officer), he has developed a reputation for strong relationship building, a deep understanding of coach / player development, and a commitment to growing the game at every level.
Shore Road Touch Competition
The Shore Road Touch Competition got underway despite the storms last Wednesday. With 12 teams and over 60 Players, the player driven module is a highlight of the summer.
Past, Present, and Future Legends
On the 21st of November the Grammar TEC Rugby Club came together to acknowledge our legends. We unveiled memorabilia from All Black # 6, "Jack" Lecky, donated by the late Joan Lecky. We celebrated our Life Members, and welcomed three new Sir Wilson Whineray Scholarship Players to the club, Charles Howlett (Auckland Grammar), Santino Naufahu (Auckland Grammar) and Logan Platt (Auckland Grammar).
